Did you know? Pumpkins are a member of the gourd family, and so are cucumbers, watermelons and courgettes.
Season: Available year-round, with peak season in autumn.
Fresh tip: Store whole pumpkin upside down in a cool, dry place but keep cut pumpkin wrapped in baking paper in the fridge. And if you’ve got a little extra, chop and freeze it to use later.
