Generally, we do not disclose customer’s personal  information to any of our suppliers who supply us with products. The limited exceptions to this is for competition prize winners where we may provide a customer’s contact details so the supplier can contact them if they have won a prize, and  if there is a food safety or other issue with one of our products, we may need to share customer information with the supplier so that the issue can be investigated and resolved.

No, we do not link your card payment information with your Everyday Rewards card. So unless you swipe your Everyday Rewards card, we will not be able to accrue any points against your account.

We use camera technologies (as summarised below) in our stores for security, theft prevention, or safety purposes, to protect our team members, customers, products, premises and systems, and improve your in-store shopping experience (e.g. by improving product availability). 

We do not connect the information collected by our in-store camera technologies to your Everyday Rewards or Online Shopping account.

In-store camera technologies that may be used in our stores include:

• CCTV Cameras: these are located inside and outside of our stores and automatically record footage, including images of customers as they walk through our stores
• Team Safety Cameras: team members may wear these small wearable devices which record video and audio. They are only turned on by a team member when they feel there is a safety risk (such as verbal or physical abuse)
• Scan Assist: this smart camera technology improves your experience and reduces errors at the checkout. Scan Assist  monitors the movement of the items in the checkout area and alerts you and our nearby team members if an item may be mis-scanned or missing (for example, left in a trolley or basket) We use built-in security measures to help protect your privacy, including automatically blurring all faces when displayed on screen and blacking out payment pin pads throughout the transaction
• Automatic Number Plate Recognition: this technology is used at select store carparks for safety and security purposes and to reduce the risk to team and customers from aggression and violence. The technology alerts the store team if a vehicle linked to a known offender enters the carpark.

No, we don’t have facial recognition cameras in our stores or carparks. We do have other cameras for safety and security purposes.
