Boosts
Boosts are offers that help Everyday Rewards members collect more Everyday Rewards points. Using Boosts, you can collect points faster and receive your rewards vouchers more often. As we get to know you, Boost offers are chosen specifically for you, based on what we think you might like, and what you typically buy when you scan your Everyday Rewards card at checkout.
No you don’t. All registered Everyday Rewards members are eligible for Boosts. These are made available each Monday, for you to check, Boost and enjoy.
You can view your Boosts when you log into the Everyday Rewards app, the Everyday Rewards website, Woolworths website or Woolworths app. Members may receive regular email updates if you’ve opted in to receiving email updates. To ensure you’re always up-to-date we recommend checking your details and communications preference in your Everyday Rewards account settings.
You’ll need to ensure you’ve turned on Boosts in your Everyday Rewards communication permission. Once you’ve done so, you’ll be able to receive Boosts emails. Alternatively, you can find all your Boost offers when you log into the Everyday Rewards website, Everyday Rewards app, Woolworths NZ website or Woolworths app.
Shopping
You can place your order at any time, 24/7. Orders may be placed up to one week in advance of delivery or pick up.
Specials are available online from 7am Monday - midnight Sunday. You find these under Specials & Offers or in our Mailer.
Please be sure to select your local store and select from either 'Delivery' or 'Pick Up' to see the product range and prices for your area and shopping preference.
Please complete your online checkout before midnight Sunday to receive the current week's prices.
At certain times there may be other specials that run for shorter or longer time periods for example a ‘One Day Sale’, or localised, or exclusive ‘Online Only offers’ for our online shoppers.
Woolworths online offers most products and brands you would find in a Woolworths store - including fresh meat and fish, fruit and vegetables, bakery and delicatessen items.
Some in-store products may not be available, including very large items and hot food. In some areas (eg. rurally) the product range is limited to dry goods that do not need refrigeration.
There are a few ways you can use to find products:
- MyFavourites
- past orders
- shopping list
- browse our aisles
- use our search bar.
Go to ‘Lists’ in the top menu of the home page. You’ll find your favourites and most regularly purchased products under 'buy again'. ‘Past shops’ contains all products you’ve bought before. You can add items to your cart directly from these lists.
Saved shopping lists are temporarily unavailable on the website right now. You can shop from your saved lists on the Woolworths app.
Delivery fees are based on the final, updated total value of your shop. For example, if you add items to a Delivery order and the total value goes over $200, then your delivery fee will be $9, not $14.
Standard Pick up fees are $3.50 on all orders, regardless of order size. The fee for Express Pick up online orders is $6.
We’re continuing to look at alternative options for our online customers, however paper bags are the best, most workable alternative we have available at the moment.
Customers who don’t want to pay for paper bags are welcome to use our Pick Up service and BYO bags when they collect their order.
No, the $1.50 bag charge covers the flat rate cost of paper bags provided and is not a grocery item. It is listed separately on the Review Order page when you shop online, as well as on your invoice.
Delivery Saver customers who place an online order will incur the bag charge of $1.50 - the same as all other online shopping customers.
You’ll have the option of applying your vouchers at the Payments step of the checkout.
On web you can pay with all your vouchers, but on our app you can choose to use only some of them at once.
Simply enter the quantity you require in the quantity box displayed below each product. Eg. to order 250 grams simply enter 0.25 and click add to trolley.
Please note that some weighted or pack items may have a minimum or pack weight and we cannot supply different weights. Where this is the case we will notify you and increase the amount in your trolley to the minimum weight or next allowable amount.
We aim to supply you with what you have ordered as a minimum. That is because we can’t guarantee that it will be the exact weight as products can vary in size and weight. For example, if you order 1kg of apples, you might end up receiving 1.103kg of apples, that is because we aim to supply you with what you have ordered but we can’t guarantee that it will be the exact amount, as products can vary in weight.
The fresh foods we supply to you are selected directly off the shelves in our supermarkets. Your Personal Shopper will select the highest quality fresh foods available. You can leave them a note to shop like you do via shopper notes. Fresh or FREE - we understand the importance of high quality fresh food for our customers so if you happen to be dissatisfied with what you have received we offer a fresh or free guarantee.
A dedicated Personal Shopper handpicks your order. Personal Shoppers are professional shoppers that have been trained to select products as if they were shopping for their own families.
We do not supply orders where goods are purchased for resale in a retail outlet. For orders that exceed normal household/office quantities, you may be charged additional delivery fees. Our Customer Care team will contact you to advise any additional fees.
We have partnered with Spoon Guru, worldwide experts in analysing nutritional value and ingredients, to define the suitability of products across a range of dietary needs. Spoon Guru use product information like nutritional value and ingredients to highlight products that meet certain dietary requirements. For some products we do not have enough product information to successfully apply a filter, but we are continuously looking to apply these filters to more products. To find out more about our Dietary filters, visit our Dietary & Lifestyle Filters page.
We try to support as many browser versions as possible, but it is not possible to ensure that all are fully supported. If you are experiencing issues, or for the best shopping experience possible, we recommend the browser versions below:
- Microsoft Windows: Latest version of Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.
- Macintosh OSX and iOS: Latest version of Safari or Google Chrome.
- Android: Latest version of Google Chrome
- Other browsers or older browser versions may work fine but for the best experience please use one of the browsers recommended above.
When you see a little tag with the word promoted in it, this means that a supplier has paid for their product to be promoted higher up in the search results. They may do this because they have a new product they want customers to see, or they think customers like you may like this product but not know about it.

Low Price
It is an exciting new way for customers to save more money and gain even more value when shopping with us.
Low Price will enable customers to shop hundreds of essentials that they depend on every day or week, at the same low price. Not just for days but for weeks and weeks.
Put simply, it gives shoppers Low Prices they can rely on every day
Hundreds of products are part of the programme including bread, butter, cheese, pasta, meat & produce. Check out the full list here https://www.woolworths.co.nz/shop/products/lowprice.
We all know that inflation is high at the moment, and our absolute priority is doing what we can to help keep food prices as affordable and stable as possible. One of the ways we can do that is with offers like Low Price which gives customers price certainty on a range of key grocery items over not just days but weeks and weeks.
It is part of us making it easy for customers to find value every time they shop with us.
You’ll see red Low Price tickets in-store and online.
Low Price is not considered a special as we keep the products at the same low price for longer - not for days but for weeks and weeks. Giving customers low prices they can rely on every day.
You don't need an Everyday Rewards card in order to buy Low Price products.
All Low Price products will be the same price in-store and online. However due to different challenges with supply chain and weather, some prices may differ slightly between the North and South Island.
Low Prices are not available in our metro stores.
As we transition from Countdown to Woolworths, we have looked at our price mechanics to see how we can best provide value to our customers. Here we made the decision to move away from Great Price and introduce Low Price - which is loved by customers across the wider Woolworths Group as an awesome way of getting low prices on essential products every day.
Low Price will include a large range of our best own brand, fresh, and exclusive products, but will also feature some of your favourite brands too.
Editing my order
Except for Express Pick up orders, you can add or remove products from your order up until we start picking the order, by logging into your online shopping account. To change an order, go to ‘A account’, then ‘Orders’. Select the current order you’d like to update, hit the ‘Add or remove items’ link and follow the prompts. You can also do this by logging into your Woolworths NZ app.
Any updates you make to your pending order may result in a change to the estimated total price of your shop.
When you choose to add new items to your pending order, all items in your shopping cart will update to today's active online prices. This means:
- New savings: You’ll automatically gain the benefit of any new promotions or specials running on our website today.
- Expired promotions: You may lose previous promotional pricing on existing items in your cart if those promotions have since expired.
- The payment process itself remains exactly the same – we won’t charge your card until your order has been delivered and invoiced.
Important details regarding payment holds:
New authorisation hold: If the updated total of your shop is higher than your original order, a new authorisation hold will be placed on your payment card for the extra amount to cover the difference.
If you increase or decrease the quantity of an existing item, you’ll pay the current price for all of those items, including the current online price for all the other items in your shopping cart (the price they are on the day you edit your order).
For example: When you first placed your order, you had 2 avocados in your trolley. You add another avocado when you edit your order. You’ll pay current pricing for all 3 avocados, as well as current pricing for all the other items in your cart.
Multibuy offers: For Multibuy offers that are still running, if you decrease your quantity, you must ensure your reduced quantity still meets the offer criteria. For example, if you originally bought a "3 for $5" special, you must keep a minimum quantity of 3 of those items in your trolley to retain that special pricing.
Paying current online prices when you edit your order can mean:
- New savings: You’ll automatically gain the benefit of any new promotions or specials running on our website today.
- Expired promotions: You may lose previous promotional pricing on existing items in your cart if those promotions have since expired.
- The payment process itself remains exactly the same – we won’t charge your card until your order has been delivered and invoiced.

Any updates you make to your order may result in a change to the estimated total price of your shop.
If you edit your order and remove a product that was attached to a Boost offer, you’ll no longer receive those Boost rewards.
Additionally, because you have opened your order to make a change, all remaining products in your shopping cart will automatically update to today's active online prices. This means:
- New savings: You’ll gain any new promotions or discounts running today.
- Expired promotions: You may lose promotional pricing on existing products in your cart if those promotions have now expired.
- The payment process remains exactly the same – we won’t charge you until your order has been delivered and invoiced.
Important details regarding payment holds:
New authorisation hold: If the updated total of your shop is higher than your original order, a new authorisation hold will be placed on your payment card for the extra amount to cover the difference..
Because editing your cart refreshes all items to today's current rates, any specials that have expired since you placed your original order will no longer apply.
Any updates you make to your pending order may result in a change to the estimated total price of your shop.
All products in your shopping cart will now update to today's active online prices whenever you make a change. This means:
Expired specials: If a product was on special when you first ordered but that promotion has since expired, the price will revert to today's standard online price.
New promotions: You’ll automatically gain the benefit of any new promotions or specials that have started running today.
Multibuy offers: For Multibuy offers that are still active today, you must continue to meet the minimum quantity requirements. For example, if you originally bought a "3 for $5" special, you must keep a minimum quantity of 3 of those items in your trolley to retain that special pricing.
The payment process remains exactly the same – we won’t charge your card until your order has been delivered and invoiced.
Important details regarding payment holds:
New authorisation hold: If the updated total of your shop is higher than your original order, a new authorisation hold will be placed on your payment card for the extra amount to cover the difference.
When you pay with an Everyday Rewards voucher and later change your order, the updated total must be greater than the value of your rewards voucher. Any remaining balance will be charged to your card when your order is received and invoiced.
When you change your order, if your new updated total is less than your original order total, the difference will be released to your card when the order is delivered and invoiced.
You can cancel an order from the Woolworths app or website until we start picking it. Just go to 'Account,' select 'Orders', then choose 'Cancel Order' for the relevant order.
You may also contact the Customer Care Centre on 0800 40 40 40 to cancel your order before we start picking it. A $20 cancellation fee may apply to orders that are cancelled after they have been picked.
Please contact our Customer Care Team as soon as possible to request to cancel your order. If your order has been picked, we may be unable to cancel it and a $20 cancellation fee may be charged to cover the cost incurred. See our Terms and Conditions for more information.
The funds being held for your cancelled order will be released and will show as available to you in your bank account or credit card within 7 working days from the date of cancellation.
If your cancelled order has been paid or part-paid using Everyday Rewards vouchers, we'll credit the vouchers back to your Everyday Rewards account. They'll be available for you to redeem again after 2 working days from the date of cancellation.
Your promo codes/coupons will remain active on your edited order, provided they are still valid, have not expired, and still meet the eligibility criteria at the time you resubmit.
If you make changes to your pending order, any codes/coupons you previously applied will carry over only if they’re still eligible and have not expired at the time you resubmit your order.
Because editing your cart updates your entire shop to today's active rates and promotions, please keep the following in mind:
Still eligible & active: If your code/coupon has not expired and your edited cart still meets all the terms (such as a minimum spend or specific product requirements), the discount will still apply.
Expired or ineligible: If the code/coupon has expired since you first placed your order, or if your changes mean your cart no longer meets the eligibility criteria, the code/coupon will be removed from your final total.
Substitutions
If you'd like us to find you an alternative, you'll need to “Allow substitutions” during the checkout process. Your Personal Shopper will then replace the unavailable item with one of equal or higher value. We'll only charge you the price of the product you originally ordered.
If there is no equivalent item available, you will not be supplied with or charged for those item(s).
To always allow substitutes, you can update your substitute preferences under 'Settings' in your online shopping account.
Yes. You can use Shopper notes to let your Personal Shopper know what to look for as an alternative (e.g another brand or flavour). You'll find "Add shopper notes" under each item in your Trolley.
Please remember that Shopper notes remain the same once added, so you can either set and forget, or update them if your preference changes.
We won't contact you about out-of-stock items, or ask what you'd like as a substitute.
If you’ve ticked ‘Allow substitutes’ during the checkout process, we’ll do our best to find you a suitable alternative. If there is no equivalent item available, you will not be charged for the affected item(s).

When you place an order, we put a temporary hold on your credit card for the *estimated total of your order, but we won’t charge you until your order is complete. After your order has been picked up or delivered, we’ll release the hold on your card and charge you the final total
*The estimated total is the estimated price of your order when you place it. Your final total may be slightly different after our personal shoppers enter the exact weights of products like fruit and veg, and remove or substitute any out-of-stock items.
When you place an order, we put a hold on the estimated total. This shows up as a pending payment on your account.
But don’t worry. You’ll only be charged for the items we’re able to supply. Once your order is packed, we send the final invoice to your bank. At that point:
- your bank processes the payment for the items you received
- the amount on hold is released.
Most banks release the hold amount straight away, but some can take 2–3 days. On your statement, you’ll only see the final charge for what was delivered.

You will be liable for all bank fees and all costs associated with debt collection.
