A new online customer needs to spend the amount specified in the offer at Woolworths/Countdown (“Woolworths”) online shopping site (woolworths.co.nz) in a single transaction. The customer must enter the “exclusive code” provided at the online checkout for the offer to be applied to their online shop as outlined below.

The “exclusive code” is able to be shared, but will only be valid once per new online shopping account.

The offer is effective from 26 August 2024 to 26 February 2026 (“Promotion Period”). The new online customer needs to spend the amount specified, online at woolworths.co.nz in a single transaction. The customer must place their first order through their new Woolworths online shopping account and enter the “exclusive code” at the online checkout for the offer to be applied to their online shop.

Woolworths is not responsible for any breach of these terms and conditions. Please note that the delivery fee, tobacco products, smoking accessories, Christmas Club vouchers, gift vouchers, gift cards and lottery tickets do not count towards the qualifying spend. A $1.50 bag charge applies per order to cover the cost of all of the paper bags with the customer’s order.

The customer may only use one “exclusive code” per online shop. If there is a separate Woolworths promotion with a separate discount code, the customer will need to use the codes across separate online shops; the discount codes/”exclusive codes” cannot both be used on the same online shop.  

Terms binding

By placing an online order and entering their “exclusive code” at checkout, customers agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

Who is eligible

This offer is only available to customers who create a new Woolworths online shopping account, place their first online order, spend the minimum amount specified in the offer in a single transaction, and use the “exclusive code” at the online checkout during the Promotion Period. The “exclusive code” is communicated by Woolworths to the customers via a display ad or a social media ad.

How to Redeem

The customer must meet all the conditions specified in the offer and enter the “exclusive code” provided at the online checkout for the offer to be applied to their online shop. This offer is only redeemable once per new online customer within the Promotion Period.

Variations

Woolworths reserves the right to vary any of the terms of this offer or to modify, terminate, suspend or reschedule this promotion.

Exclusions and Liability

Woolworths is not responsible for any offers not redeemed within the Promotion Period. To the extent permitted by law, and without limiting any rights customers may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 in relation to the promotion, Woolworths and its related companies, employees and agencies shall not be liable for any loss, damage or personal injury (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) suffered by any person arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection with this promotion. Woolworths is not responsible for the transmission or receipt of any incorrect information associated with entries, either caused by user error or any equipment or programming malfunction associated with the promotion.

Privacy Policy and Use of Personal Information

Any personal information collected by Woolworths through the promotion will be stored, used and disclosed in accordance with Woolworths’ Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act. Customers have the right to access their personal information pursuant to the Privacy Act, and can do so via one of the methods set out in Woolworths’ Privacy Policy. By entering this promotion, customers consent to the use of their information as described above.
