Wholesale supply of groceries
We’ve started to work on opening up our wholesale grocery supply. If you might be interested in buying from us, then we’d love to hear more about you and your business.
Opening up wholesale supply means investing in and developing new systems and technology, hiring a dedicated team, and working with our current supply partners to provide their products.
It begins with understanding more about potential customers - who you might be, what you want, and how we might best meet your needs. If you’re interested in submitting a wholesale supply request with WWNZ, please visit the NZGW website and complete the wholesale supply request form. Our wholesale rules, criteria, and procedures for considering wholesale supply requests, principles for wholesale supply and standard Wholesale Supply Agreement template are also available on the NZGW website.
Our purpose
Our purpose
As a company at the heart of communities throughout New Zealand, our mission is to make Kiwi lives a little better everyday. A huge part of that is our commitment to making sure our customers enjoy exceptional shopping experiences, both in store and online. We want you to get the very best in choice, value and convenience.
Making Kiwi lives a little better every day is also about the difference we make outside of our stores, for our communities and the environment. Whether it’s working with KidsCan or The Salvation Army, making sure our products are responsibly and ethically sourced, using electric delivery trucks or making our stores energy efficient, we take our social and environmental responsibilities seriously.
Our stores
Our stores
With over 185 supermarkets across New Zealand, we’re proud to serve Kiwi communities all over our beautiful country. Every week, we serve more than 3 million customers, and offer more than 20,000 different products in each of our stores. Keeping these products stocked up, means that our drivers make over 250,000 deliveries from our distribution centres to our stores, every year.
Woolworths New Zealand is a subsidiary of the publicly-listed Australian company, Woolworths Group Limited. Woolworths New Zealand is also the franchise coordinator for Fresh Choice and SuperValue. That's why you might see products that are ‘exclusive to Woolworths’ or ‘only sold at Woolworths’, also sold at these stores. Learn more about us
Our people
Our people
As one of New Zealand’s largest employers, we’re a team of 20,000. You’ll know the friendly in-store team members in your local Woolworths store, but behind the scenes, they're supported by thousands of team members who work in: four dry grocery distribution centres, three fresh produce distribution centres, three chilled and frozen distribution centres, two meat and seafood processing plants, and two support offices.
