We’re proud to contribute to the local community in many different ways. A 2024 report from the New Zealand Institute of Economic Research (NZIER) shows that Woolworths adds over $1.6 billion to New Zealand’s GDP every year. The report covered our social and economic impacts beyond our stores. It also found that Woolworths is a significant employer that provides entry points into the workforce for diverse backgrounds, career stages, and interests.
