Air Fryer Salmon with Teriyaki Glaze

Ingredients

  • 460 grams salmon fillets, skin-removed
  • 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 450 grams microwave long-grain white rice
  • 3 teaspoons sesame seeds, toasted
  • 2 spring onions, thinly sliced
  • 350 grams slaw-style salad kit

Method

  1. Step 1 of 6
    Preheat the air fryer to 200°C for 3 minutes.
  2. Step 2 of 6
    Place salmon in a shallow dish. Pour over teriyaki sauce and turn to coat. Line the air fryer basket with baking paper, trimming to fit.
  3. Step 3 of 6
    Using tongs, place salmon in paper-lined basket. Slide pan and basket into appliance. Set the timer for 8 minutes. Cook, basting with any remaining sauce halfway through cooking time, or until cooked to your liking.

    Meanwhile, heat rice according to packet instructions. Prepare salad according to kit instructions.
  5. Step 5 of 6
    Transfer rice to a bowl. Stir in two-thirds of the sesame seeds. Divide rice mixture and salad among bowls. Top with salmon and any cooking juices.
  6. Step 6 of 6
    Serve scattered with spring onion and remaining sesame seeds.
