Apricot & Cranberry Muesli Bar Slice
A muesli slice is handy for lunchboxes, and a delicious snack when you're on-the-go. This Apricot & Cranberry Muesli Bar Slice is irresistibly nutty and sweet. If you think you're too busy for baking, this is the recipe for you.
Ingredients
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup chopped dried apricots
- 1 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 cup golden syrup
- 1 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 70 grams slivered almonds
- 2 cups cornflakes
- 70 grams cashews
- 1/2 cup chopped dried cranberries
- 1 cup plain flour
- 3/4 cup raw sugar
- 200 grams butter
- 1 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 cups rolled oats

- 70 grams slivered almonds
- 2 cups cornflakes
- 70 grams cashews

- 200 grams butter
- 1 teaspoons baking powder
- Step 1 of 4Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a 24cm x 30cm baking pan with baking paper.
- Step 2 of 4Place the oats, cornflakes, flour, sugar, dried fruit, nuts, baking powder and cinnamon in a large bowl. Mix together until well combined.
- Step 3 of 4Melt the butter and golden syrup, whisking until combined. Pour over the dry ingredients and mix well until evenly combined. Press into the prepared pan and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Step 4 of 4Bake for 20 minutes until golden and firm. Leave to cool in the pan.
