Boo-nanas

This easy recipe for Boo-nanas is a healthier option when it comes to Halloween treats. It's also a fun recipe using bananas and yoghurt that the kids can help to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 3 bananas, peeled
  • 1/2 cup greek yoghurt
  • 12 currants

Method

  1. Step 1 of 3
    Line a large baking tray with baking paper. Halve bananas diagonally. Carefully insert a wooden stick into cut-sides of bananas. Place on tray. Freeze for 1 hour or until firm.
  2. Step 2 of 3
    Place yoghurt in a tall skinny glass. Dip bananas, one at a time, into yoghurt to almost coat, allowing any excess yoghurt to drip off before returning to the tray.
  3. Step 3 of 3
    To create eyes, place 2 currants on each banana, then gently press to secure. Freeze for 1 hour or until firm. Serve.
