Christmas Biscuits

These Christmas Biscuits will look great on any tree, just don't bank on them lasting until Christmas morning.

Ingredients

  • 150 grams butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup Highlander sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 3/4 cups plain flour
  • 1 cup white self raising flour
  • 1 tablespoons Nestle baking cocoa
  • 1/2 cup Nestle white melts, melted
  • 1/2 cup Nestle milk choc melts, melted
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar

Method

  1. Step 1 of 5
    Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced. Grease and line two oven trays.
  2. Step 2 of 5
    Beat butter, brown sugar and Highlander sweetened condensed milk until creamy; add egg and beat until just combined.
  3. Step 3 of 5
    Fold in sifted flours, mix to firm dough. Divide dough in two portions, knead Nestle baking cocoa into one portion, wrap each portion of dough in plastic wrap, refrigerate 30 minutes.

    Roll out dough's between two sheets of baking paper to 3mm thickness. Using Christmas shaped cutters, cut dough into shapes. Place shaped dough on prepared trays. Bake 10 minutes or until light golden. Cool on wire rack.

    Using a fork or toothpick, drizzle chocolate biscuits with Nestle white melts and remaining biscuits with Nestle milk melts.
