Classic Devilled Sausages
Classic Devilled Sausages makes for a hearty meal that will be a favourite of the family. This easy dinner recipe requires only 10 mins of prep and will be out of the oven and into tummies after 35 mins.
Ingredients
- 2 onions, sliced thinly
- 1 apple, peeled, cored, and sliced thinly
- 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups beef stock
- 1/2 cup parsley, chopped
- 1 packets pork and beef chorizo sausages
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- 2 onions, sliced thinly

- 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 2 cups beef stock
- 1/2 cup parsley, chopped
- 1 packets pork and beef chorizo sausages
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper
- Step 1 of 5Preheat the oven to 180°C (160°C fan forced).
- Step 2 of 5Place the sausages in an oven-proof dish and into the oven for 10 minutes. Remove.
- Step 3 of 5Heat the oil in a large frying pan to medium heat. Add the onions and apple, cooking slowly for 10 minutes to soften.
- Step 4 of 5In a small bowl combine the mustard, tomato sauce, sugar and Worcestershire.
- Step 5 of 5Add the sauce mix to the onions along with the beef stock, bringing slowly to a simmer for 10 minutes. Add the cooked sausages and continue to cook for a further 5 minutes turning gently to combine. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with parsley.
