Italian Beef with Red Wine & Rosemary
Bring the family together with this Italian beef pasta. Featuring tender steak and fragrant rosemary, it's a simple, comforting dinner win.
Ingredients
- 400 grams canned crushed tomatoes
- 400 grams rollini
- 400 grams beef fillet, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup shaved parmesan
- 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoons finely chopped rosemary
- 1 cup red wine

- Step 1 of 6Heat 1 tbs of olive oil in a medium saucepan. Add the garlic and cook over a low heat for 2 minutes, or until golden.
- Step 2 of 6Add the rosemary, wine and tomatoes and simmer for 15 minutes, or until the sauce is thick and well reduced.
- Step 3 of 6Cook the pasta following the directions on the packet.
- Step 4 of 6When the pasta is almost cooked, heat 1 tbs oil in a frying pan over a high heat. Sear the beef in batches for 10-15 seconds on each side.

- Step 6 of 6Drain the pasta and toss with the beef and tomato sauce. Top with the shaved parmesan. Serve with a green salad.
