Kiwifruit & Pear Crumble
Kiwifruit & Pear Crumble is a quick and easy dessert recipe made from pantry staples. And when we say easy, we really mean it, with the crumble ready to serve in just 45 mins.
Ingredients
- 6 golden kiwifruits, peeled and cubed
- 390 grams canned pears
- 1 teaspoons fresh ginger, grated
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 cup oats
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 80 grams butter, melted
- 1 cup lightly whipped cream or yoghurt

- 1 teaspoons ground cinnamon

- 1/4 cup brown sugar

- Step 1 of 6Preheat the oven to 170°C (150°C fan-forced).
- Step 2 of 6Into a large bowl, place the kiwifruits. Drain the pears reserving ½ cup liquid. Dice the pears and add to the kiwifruit with the liquid. Add the fresh ginger and lemon zest tossing them all together.
- Step 3 of 6Pour the fruit mixture into an oven-proof dish.
- Step 4 of 6To make the crumble topping, mix the flour, cinnamon, oats, brown sugar and melted butter together in a bowl. Evenly spread the mixture over the fruits.
- Step 5 of 6Bake in the middle of the oven for 25 minutes until crispy and golden on top.
- Step 6 of 6Serve warm with a good dollop of cream or yoghurt.
