Retro Mushroom Swiss Cheese Burger
Need a burger fix? You'll love the Retro Mushroom Swiss Cheese Burger! Imagine a brioche bun with an Angus steak patty, topped with fried onions, mushroom and a slice of tasty Swiss cheese – now make them!
Ingredients
- 100 grams white mushrooms, sliced
- 2 angus steak burgers
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 cup baby salad leaves
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 2 slices swiss cheese
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 2 brioche buns, halved
- 1 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 pinch pepper

- Step 1 of 4Heat the oil in a medium-sized frying pan. Add the onion, cooking for 2 or 3 minutes. Add the mushrooms, cooking for a further 5 minutes until softened. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
- Step 2 of 4Cook the steak burger patties as per packet instructions.
- Step 3 of 4To build your burgers, slice the brioche buns in half. Spread the base with mayonnaise. Add lettuce leaves, tomatoes, a patty, cheese and plenty of the mushroom and onion mix.
- Step 4 of 4Place the lid on the top and enjoy.
