Spaghetti Bolognese Hand Pies
What do you get when you combine two Kiwi favourites? Spaghetti Bolognese Hand Pies, which is soon to be another favourite of all the family!
Ingredients
- 500 grams beef mince
- 1 jar pasta sauce
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- 3 sheets pastry
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1/4 cup milk

- Step 1 of 6Heat oil in a large frying pan. Add mince and cook for 5 minutes or until brown, breaking up any chunks. Add pasta sauce and cook for a further 5 minutes, allowing sauce to cook down. Set aside and allow to cool.
- Step 2 of 6Pre-heat oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced).
- Step 3 of 6Create 12 x 8cm diameter pastry rounds from your sheets of pastry.
- Step 4 of 6Place tablespoons of mince on one side of each round, leaving 1cm at the edge so there is enough room to fold. Evenly sprinkle cheese on the mince portion of each round.
- Step 5 of 6Fold pastry over to and press edges with a fork to secure. Use fork to poke some small holes for steam to escape, and brush with milk.
- Step 6 of 6Place on a lined baking tray and bake for 20-25 minutes. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
