Summer Berry Trifle
Full of fresh strawberries, blueberries and raspberries, our Summer Berry Trifle is a quick and easy dessert recipe that's perfect for the festive season. Remember, trifle always tastes best the day after it's made!

Ingredients
- 1 L custard
- 250 mL cream
- 2 tablespoons icing sugar
- 1 packets bakery sponge cake, cut into 3 cm cubes
- 2 cups blueberries
- 2 cups berries
- 2 cups raspberries
- 1 cup dessert wine

- Step 1 of 4Place a layer of sponge cubes in the base of a 2-litre glass bowl. Sprinkle with dessert wine. Top with 3 cups of fresh berries followed by a layer of custard.
- Step 2 of 4Repeat the process finishing with berries.
- Step 3 of 4Whip the cream until it forms soft peaks and spread over the trifle.
- Step 4 of 4Garnish with the extra berries, and dust with icing sugar just before serving.
