The Best Homemade Tacos
Homemade tacos were never this easy or delicious. Spice up your week night dinner with this easy to follow recipe for classic, ground beef tacos.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoons oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 500 grams beef mince
- 35 grams taco seasoning
- 400 grams canned diced tomatoes
- 8 taco shells
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup coriander, chopped
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoons oil

- Step 1 of 4Heat the oil in a frying pan over high heat. Cook the onion, stirring until soft. Add the beef, cooking until lightly browned, then add taco seasoning, stirring until fragrant.
- Step 2 of 4Add the diced tomatoes and water. Cook over a medium heat stirring occasionally for about 7 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat and season to taste.
- Step 3 of 4While your filling is cooking, warm the taco shells according to the packet.
- Step 4 of 4Place beef mixture into the taco shells. Top with lettuce, tomato, cheese, coriander and a dollop of sour cream.
