Toasted Cheesy Onion Ciabatta
Enjoy a Toasted Cheesy Onion Ciabatta for a gourmet lunch or side. Caramelised onions and crumbled feta make this a Kiwi crowd-pleaser.
Ingredients
- 2 onions, sliced
- 8 slices ciabatta bread
- 1/2 cup aioli
- 80 grams feta, crumbled
- 2 cups tasty cheese, grated
- 1 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoons balsamic vinegar

- Step 1 of 6Place the oil and onions into a large frying pan. Slowly bring to heat.
- Step 2 of 6Cook the onions for 25 minutes over low heat until completely softened and starting to caramelise. Add the sugar and balsamic and cook for 10 minutes until golden brown.
