Wheat Biscuit and Berry Crumble

Ingredients

  • 4 wheat biscuits
  • 1 cup oats
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup hazelnuts, roughly chopped
  • 100 grams butter, melted
  • 3 cups frozen berries
  • 4 wheat biscuits
  • 1 cup oats
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
  • 1/4 cup hazelnuts, roughly chopped
  • 100 grams butter, melted
  • 3 cups frozen berries

Method

  1. Step 1 of 4
    Preheat an oven to 170°C (150°C fan-forced).
  2. Step 2 of 4
    Into a large bowl, crush the wheat biscuits. Add the oats, sugar, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, hazelnuts and melted butter. Stir well to combine.
  3. Step 3 of 4
    Into an ovenproof dish, place the berries. Add the crumble mixture and bake for 30 minutes until crispy and golden.
  4. Step 4 of 4
    Use as a topping for a fruit crumble or with yoghurt for breakfast.
