How to keep flowers fresher for longer

Learn how to keep your flowers looking fresh and get the most out of your flower delivery.

Trim the stems

Make sure to trim the stems of your flowers - cut them under water to allow the flowers to absorb it. Use a sharp knife or scissors to cut at least 1cm off the stems. Make diagonal cuts so your flowers have more surface area to absorb water.

Place in water

Place your flowers into fresh, clean, tepid water and in a clean container or vase.Tepid water absorbs faster than cold water, allowing water and nutrients to travel up to the bloom as quickly as possible.

Check your leaves

Make sure no leaves are immersed in water. You may have to remove some.
