Product of Ecuador or Philippines
Our Cavendish bananas, sourced from Ecuador, are available throughout the year.
Ripe bananas are perfect for snacking, used in baking, fruit salads and smoothies.
How to Pick:
Select bananas based on your usage timeframe and how you'll want to eat or use them. Ripe Eat now bananas are yellow and may be lightly flecked with brown spots. These are at their peak flavour, ready for consumption today or tomorrow.
How to Store:
Store bananas at room temperature, where they will continue to ripen. If you refrigerate your bananas, they will stop ripening, but this will also make the skins go black. The fruit is still okay to eat, but will not be the best quality.
Rainforest Alliance:
Rainforest Alliance is an international non-profit organization working at the intersection of business, agriculture, and forests to make responsible business the new normal.
