This rosé is made from a blend of pinot noir, merlot and pinot gris grapes. The pinot noir and merlot provide red fruit flavour and structure whilst the pinot gris adds floral aromatic lift and palate weight. The wine was fermented at cool temperatures to encourage and preserve its bright, lifted aromatics.
bright and fresh with aromatics of strawberry, redcurrant and candied cherry with hints of floral and vanilla. dry in style with delicate red fruit and refreshing acidity. The sweet fruit is well balanced by a touch of tannin providing texture and length.
drinking well immediately; this wine can be enjoyed until two years from release. Great on a summer afternoon matched with crayfish, salad nicoise or simple cold cuts while on a picnic.
