Road Hog IPA, built different. Brewed different. An epic old-school clear IPA built with new-school hops. A hot rod icon. Stunning in '72. The wildest ride many had ever seen as magazine pages on bedroom walls or rumbling around Rotovegas, Cambridge and the 'Tron.

It survives in 2025, resuscitated by a couple of highly skilled hot rod history buffs, father and son. Once the country's coolest, Road Hog is coming back for its crown more than half a century later. An old school IPA built with new-school hops. Expect an aggressively hopped, malt stabilised, bitterly finished beauty. Fanging bright tropical tones with zesty, floral echoes.

Awards: NZ Beer Awards 2026 - Silver - NZ IPA, Pale Ale & Draught

Food Match: Fish & Chips, Classic Kiwi pub-grub.
