Wall Mounting Guide Hang the diffuser unit at least 2m high on the wall and not closer than 30cm from the ceiling or roof of any outdoor structure. For Indoor use, recommended for use only in well ventilated rooms 15? and above. Do not install, use or store closer than 5m away from naked flame, heat or any incandescent material, for example near stoves, heaters, refrigerators, barbecues, outdoor heaters, open fireplaces and outdoor refrigerators. When determining where to hand the diffuser unit, ensure that you use an appropriate hook for the wall surface selected. The diffuser unit and full aerosol refill weigh approximately 550g. Do not open or close the diffuser when the unit is hanging on the wall as it may loosen the hook causing the diffuser to fall. Important Notes 1. Ensure you direct the diffuser away from your face at all times. 2. In case of absence from your home for a week or longer, turn off the diffuser, placing the switch in the Off position. 3. When refill can is empty, replace with Mortein Automatic aerosol refills only. If there is no green light, check the batteries are inserted correctly. If it fails to spray, please read the Trouble-shooting directions. Batteries need to be replaced when the green light stops flashing or when the diffuser stops spraying. Use Mortein Automatic Aerosol Refill Cans only Trouble-Shooting • Turn off the device by moving the switch to the Off position. • Remove the refill can. • Check the batteries are inserted correctly aligning the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals • Insert the refill can and switch on the diffuser. • If the diffuser still does not spray after checking the above, the batteries may require replacing. • The diffuser unit may be cleaned with a dry disposable cloth. See 'wall mounting guide' for more information. In an outdoor setting, the device is only to be used in well ventilated, sheltered outdoor areas only when mosquitoes and flies are prevalent. Mount the diffuser at least 2m above the floor and not closer than 30cm from the ceiling, roof or any outdoor or indoor structure facing an open area (refer to 'wall mounting guide'). Setting up your diffuserYour kit contains 1 x Diffuser unit, 1 x Refill 154g Net and 2 x AA batteries 1. To open the diffuser device, hold the base in one hand and the top in the other hand and twist anticlockwise. 2. Remove the battery pack provided from the base. 3. Remove the lid from the top half of the device and insert the 2 x AA batteries. Ensure the Positive (+) and Negative (-) terminals are aligned and replace the lid 4. Ensure the diffuser is switched to the Off position, (light will flash red once when device is switched to Off mode is selected). Insert the refill into the base, align the small line marking (top edge of the device base) with the back of the can's spray nozzle. Place the top half of the device on the base ensuring the spray nozzle is facing through opening in the top half. Twist the top half clockwise lining up the triangle marking with the mark on the base. 5. Select the desired level of protection (see "Choosing the best setting" above). The flashing green light indicates the device will spray after a delay of 15 seconds. If there is no spray after 15 seconds, switch off the device and check steps 3 and 4 have been performed correctly before repeating step 5. 6. When the aerosol refill is almost empty, the red light will flash and the device will soon stop spraying. Turn the device off. Remove the refill and replace with a new refill using the above steps.
