In classic American pale ale fashion, Interstate is brewed with a lighter malt base than an IPA. The use of Amarillo and Simcoe hops in the kettle start to build the flavour and bitterness, but it is the use of Mosaic and Citra hops in the dry hopping that gives the pine and citrus aroma and flavour.
Highways from sea to shining sea help us get super-sized truckloads of Mosaic and Citra hops to send to New Zealand so we can deliver you this pale ale with the resinous pine and grapefruit flavours of the Pacific Northwest.
